Muslin fabric
|
|
Muslin fabric using for polishing buffing wheel is made of 100% cotton with a plain weave, it is fine, soft and economy, polishing buffing wheels made of this material are great for final high polishing. There are many kinds of muslin fabric with different yarn counts, density and weight.
Types of buffing wheels made of this material:
Stitched/loose-leaf, with a washer or not; Can be with shellac center.
Cotton airway buffing wheels, bias cotton buffs

For final high polishing
Use with white polishing compound, blue polishing compound, red rouge polishing compound for final high polishing on metals, Musical instruments and jewelries.

Hard treated Muslin fabric
|
|
Muslin fabric can be hard treated by starching or dipping in solvent based resins to make it last longer and aggressive, and can be treated to different colors with different hardness. Hard treated cotton buffs are using for cutting, and pre-polishing for metals.

Cotton twill
|
|
Cotton twill fabric is versatile, durable, can be used for airway buffing wheels and pleated cotton buffs.

|

Denim is a kind fabric of cotton twill, it is economy and durable. Color cotton buffs are made of this fabric.

Bleached Muslin fabric
|

Bleached Muslin fabric is softer than natural muslin fabric, cotton buffs with this fabric is used for final high mirror polishing on metals and jewelries.

Flannel cloth
|
|
Flannel cloth is made of bleached muslin fabric after napping, it is the softest fabric, very goods for mirror finishing on soft metals.

|

Sisal fiber has natural cutting properties, and it is a kind of good raw material for making polishing wheels, sisal cloth comes with different density and weight, density 6*7, 8*6 and 8*7 are commonly used.
